How to make a Family of Owls.

Materials needed:
1. 4 pine cones (of different sizes).
2. Part of a branch (or small log).
3. 8 old buttons.
4. Wood glue.

Method:
Pull of two large-size scales from the base, then turn cone up-side-down and glue the two scales on as feet. Pull two smaller scales off and glue on top as ear tufts. Glue on buttons for eyes. Pull off one small scale and glue on as beak (bill). Leave to dry, then glue the family of owls onto the branch or log.
