Don had a busy summer this year. Here are some of the highlights:

May
May 2006 saw Don guesting on the popular TV show UR CALL on Network 2.

June
Don travelled the length and breadth of the country presenting environmental awards to children in national schools for their successful entries in the Wildlife in Schools Challenge.

"It was great fun meeting all the young enthusiastic pupils. It gives one great hope for the future to see how much interest and knowledge they have about wildlife and the environment."

Don says his claim to fame is that he has been lucky enough to plant a native tree in every county in Ireland over the past ten years.

July
Don began the second series of 'The Art of Don' for young people. The first series proved to be very popular with young viewers. Screening of the second series starts in September 2006.
