A wet Sunday morning saw a few hardy souls on Wexford Beach for the annual dawn chorus. Despite the fact that the rain teemed down, great fun was had by all.

Red Kite Soaring Over Wicklow

Here's a photo of a Red Kite taken recently. It's being mobbed by a Hooded Crow which will give you an idea of the size of these magnificent birds. It's great that along with the Golden Eagles in Donegal, the Sea Eagles in Kerry that the Red Kites, once again, soar over Wicklow.
